Building Description

The 80-foot clear span is the practical threshold for single-aircraft corporate jet storage. Aircraft in the light jet category — including the Cirrus Vision Jet, Cessna Citation M2, and HondaJet Elite – fit comfortably within this footprint with a minimum of 8 to 12 feet of clearance on each side, sufficient for tug access, ground power unit positioning, and walkaround inspections without repositioning the aircraft. The 80-foot depth accommodates fuselage lengths up to 50 feet with a dedicated zone behind the tail for ground support equipment, crew gear storage, and a dedicated maintenance workstation.

The 20-foot eave height is specifically engineered for jet-class tail geometries. Vertical stabilizers on light and midsize jets typically range from 14 to 17 feet, requiring door openings and interior clearances that standard general aviation structures cannot provide. The 20-foot eave supports bifold and hydraulic door systems with clear openings up to 18 feet – accommodating the full range of aircraft in this category without height restrictions at the threshold.

The pre-engineered rigid steel frame delivers a fully column-free interior, enabling flexible internal configuration for crew lounges, parts storage, or a dedicated maintenance bay alongside the aircraft. Framing is engineered to regional wind, snow, and seismic load requirements. Available options include insulation packages rated for climate-controlled environments, LED hangar lighting systems, personnel entry doors, and electrical infrastructure provisions to support aircraft ground power and avionics servicing equipment.
